Good Morning Resident,

On Wednesday, our Neighbourhood Policing Team attended Lamb Park in Durrington for the Islamic festival of Eid.

With around 500+ worshippers in attendance it was a great opportunity to support the local community and those celebrating Eid and ensure that everyone could mark the celebration safely and comfortably.

We patrolled the surrounding roads to help manage parking and provided general reassurance to the local neighbourhood.

We would like to extend our thanks to all those who attended and contributed to a respectful and well-organised event.
